I hope everyone had a lovely Family Day. I know some were travelling to enjoy winter outdoor activities and enjoyed the long weekend.

This Sunday, February 24th we are focusing on Presbyterian World Service and Development. PWS&D is the development and relief agency of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. We are delighted that Anna Muir, Communications Assistant with PWS&D will be with us sharing stories and updating us. For those who would like to make a donation to the Yemen Crisis, a special envelope will be included in our bulletins.

Our Youth Praise Band will be leading us in music and we’ll sing “Precioud Lord, take my hand”, “I know the Lord’s laid his hands on me”, and “There is a Redeemer”. The Praise Band will be singing “Washed by the Water” and “10,000 Reasons”.

After worship the Global Partners Committee will have a display table in the hall during coffee time.

Many thanks to everyone who filled in the post its last week answering the questions: “How would you describe Knox?” and “What characteristics do you hope our new minister has?” We have passed them onto our Search Committee and they will be letting us know some of your thoughts this Sunday!

If you haven’t had your photo taken for the new Church Directory, the photographer will be coming back in April. Look for the new dates and book a time online on our church website!

Thanks everyone. Peace and grace,

Linda Ashfield, minister at Knox
