WORSHIP AT KNOX – 🌈 PRIDE SUNDAY

This week, we celebrate that God’s love includes everyone! The service will include the participation of many in the Knox Community who identify as LGBTQI and as allies.

GOD’S LOVE INCLUDES EVERYONE
This statement was adopted by Knox Waterloo on September 27, 2016
As an inclusive, affirming congregation, we honour the diversity of God’s creation. Our community is richer when we include people of all ages, gender identities, racial and cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, abilities, economic circumstances and family configurations.
We seek to provide a safe space so that each person can bring every aspect of their whole self into participation within this congregation. We invite all to join into the life, leadership, witness and ministry of Knox Waterloo.

THE SUNDAY SCHOOL WANTS TO THANK:

Susan McTavish – for managing the Sunday School account. You have done this for at least 20 years and it is an important role. Your dedication and support means so much!

Femmy Birks  – for all of the behind-the-scenes work you do to support the Sunday School. Thank you for providing porch deliveries, providing books and resources for the children, and (through Global Partners) to provide a quality Sunday School Challenge each year!

PRESBYTERIAN WORLD SERVICE & DEVELOPMENT

In response to a devastating surge in COVID-19 cases in India, PWS&D issued an urgent appeal. You responded generously, contributing almost $70,000. Working with partners at ACT Alliance and Canadian Foodgrains Bank, PWS&D is supporting sick or quarantined people with cash to buy medicines and provide for other emergency needs. THANK YOU!
