This is our last week of Logos together before Christmas, Come to Bethlehem theme.  I am humbled by the adult participant leadership every week.  The pageant was a success – thanks to Linda Ashfield and the Worship Arts leaders for their perseverance and leadership.  Thanks to everyone.  This week is week 1 – Senior High are doing activities, and junior high are doing recreation first period.  Please ask your senior highs to bring a wrapped pre loved gift for a white elephant gift exchange in activities. (Something that they no longer need or use, but someone might).

Reminder that potatoes are being peeled on Thursday at 2 p.m.  If you can help out – please come to assist!!  Our Christmas turkey dinner will take place this week!  Thanks in advance to Kendra and our kitchen crew!

For the Senior High part of the Logos Christmas service – they could use 3-4 adults who are willing to be carolers in the skit – you will be singing part of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and part of “Frosty the Snowman”.  As well, if there are any grades 1-3 would be willing to put on the animal costumes and be the barn animals and sheep for this skit – it would be really appreciated.  Please connect with Amanda Farquhar (amandafarquhar@gmail.com)or Krista Stemmler.  Does anyone have a Buddy the Elf hat (from the movie Elf) that we could borrow?

There is a Senior High Christmas party this Friday, December 13th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the church. Come for a night of snacks, games and Christmas fun. Feel free to bring a game to teach or a snack to share.

If anyone would like confidential prayers for themselves or their Logos group, please let Rebecca Anders know randers@rogers.com who is leading a small prayer team for the Logos community.

Heads Up and Save the Date – We want to celebrate all adult participants during our Epiphany Party  – Thursday, January 9th from 7 to 9 p.m. at 433 Dansbury Pl, Waterloo, ON N2K 3X8.  Details to come in a separate note.  Drop in as it works for you.

Enjoy the blessings of the season.  See you Thursday.
