And Welcome to the last official night of LOGOS for 2018/19 – “I Hope You Had the Time of Your Life”! This is the night where we Celebrate our Wonderful LOGOS Graduates – those both Graduating from Grade 8 and entering our Sr High Group and those leaving Sr High and going on to make their mark in the world! We take the time to honour these significant Milestones and Thank God for the blessings of all the people, in LOGOS and outside our doors, who have helped to bring them this far! We certainly have a Wonderful, LARGE and Multi-talented Group of Youth!!!
We will begin this week with the Jr High being downstairs in the Gym and the Sr High being Upstairs in Activity. After dinner our Grade 1- 3 will be in the Gym and the 4 – 6 Group will be upstairs with an activity.
To all our Adult Participants – we want to THANK YOU for your commitment to our Ministry and the AMAZING Talents and Gift you share each week with our Youth. Please be sure to stop by and see Femmy and Steph at the Welcome Desk to be Thanked in person….you are all soooooo sweet!!!
Just a reminder that our Jr High will be hosting a Carnival Open House Next Thursday, April 11 from 5 – 7 pm. If you are in Jr High or helping with the Carnival, we would request that you arrive by 4:30….we invite everyone to join us for a night of FUN and EDUCATION! Drop in anytime between 5 and 7 pm to enjoy carnival games ….including a bouncy castle, games of skill and chance, plasma car maze, face painting and puppy socialization area – all for a free-
will offering which will be donated to Dog Guides of Canada.
There will also be hot dogs, drinks and popcorn available for a nominal cost.
Hope to see you There! Please invite your friends and family to join us as well!
As LOGOS is winding down for this year, we are also beginning to make plans for next year. On Thursday April 25 at 6 pm – 8 pm we will be having a dinner meeting Debrief and Planning Session with the Jr and Sr High Leaders and other interested Adults. If you are interested in having some input or are curious about Jr or Sr High we would welcome your participation. Please RSVP with your intent to come by emailing me at the above email by April 22 so that we can plan for the right amount for dinner.
Many people are already feeling called to a particular role at LOGOS for next year. If you do know where you’d like to be, please contact a member of the steering committee or myself. If not, please take some time over the next few weeks and/or months to give some prayerful consideration on what you might like to do. If we divide the work, we can multiply! As part of the Bones of LOGOS, we do require that each family have an adult representative share their time and talents with our Ministry.
Just a Reminder that we will begin again on Thursday, September 19 with our Regular LOGOSProgram. Also, mark your calendars now for our MANDATORY ADULT PARTICIPATION NIGHT at 7 pm on September 5.
Finally, I want to say a great BIG Thank you to everyone who has made my 2 years as Director a Fabulous and Rewarding Experience! It’s been so great getting to know so many new people and re-igniting old friendships! I feel as blessed as my children do to be a part of this AMAZING and MIRACULOUS Ministry, here at Knox. I have learned, once again, how God truly does work in mysterious ways!
I will still be in touch over the weeks to come as we have a few more events in April and will be sending reminders over the summer.
Wishing all of you a Happy Easter, a Great Spring and a Relaxing Summer – and we hope to see you and your family back at LOGOS in September!
Blessings,
Liz
