It’s April and all of nature is coming alive again. We look forward to Earth Week (April 19-23) and Earth Day (April 22), a special time to celebrate this wonderful creation of which we are a part.
This spring, the Global Partners Committee of Knox has been thinking about how climate change is having an impact on our world and our lives. With this in mind, we invite you to participate in the campaign “For the Love of Creation”, a faith-in-action campaign led by KAIROS and Citizens for Public Justice (CPJ). This campaign has been endorsed by over 30 churches and faith communities, and The Presbyterian Church in Canada is encouraging us to join in. How?
- Fill in a pledge card, take a picture of yourself with the card, and post it on the church’s Facebook page. For ideas and details, check this link: Personal Climate Action Pledge – For the Love of Creation.

A message from Carole
Calling all Jr. and Sr. High! Once again, we are making cards to send to some of the senior citizens in our community. In these difficult times, let’s continue to reach out and remind others they are not alone. Your participation is appreciated! Email Carole if you are interested.
FAITHFUL PARENTING OF TWEENS & TEENS IN THE PANDEMIC
Courtney is offering a time for parents and guardians of tweens & teens to connect and support one another. It will be an opportunity to share some simple faith at home practices, to vent, to pray, and encourage one another. We will begin with 2 evening sessions in late April/early May. Fill in the doodle poll to let us know if a Sunday or a Wednesday evening is preferable. Questions? Email Courtney.
