EARTH DAY 2021

It’s April and all of nature is coming alive again. We are in Earth Week (April 19-23) and today is Earth Day (April 22), a special time to celebrate this wonderful creation of which we are a part.

This spring, the Global Partners Committee of Knox has been thinking about how climate change is having an impact on our world and our lives. With this in mind, we invite you to participate in the campaign “For the Love of Creation”, a faith-in-action campaign led by KAIROS and Citizens for Public Justice (CPJ). This campaign has been endorsed by over 30 churches and faith communities, and The Presbyterian Church in Canada is encouraging us to join in. How?

    • Fill in a pledge card, take a picture of yourself with the card, and post it on the church’s Facebook page. For ideas and details, check this link: Personal Climate Action Pledge – For the Love of Creation.

FINAL THOUGHT…

“The fact that I can plant a seed and it becomes a flower, share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another’s, smile at someone and receive a smile in return, are to me the continual spiritual exercises.”
– Leo Buscaglia
