Prelude

Welcome

Call to Worship:

One: Come, let us walk together in the presence of God.
All: Let us praise God who listens,
One: and who loves us, who protects us and forgives us,
All: And sends us forth to serve.
One: Come, let us worship God together.

Praise God, all creatures high and low.
Praise God, in Jesus fully known:
Creator, Word and Spirit: One.

Prayer of Dedication

One: When we choose greed over gratitude,
All: forgive us.
One: When we choose pettiness over praise,
All: forgive us.
One: When we choose tantrums over thanksgiving,
All: forgive us.
One: When we choose loathing over love,
All: forgive us.
One: The whole world is yours, O God, and we offer what is already yours to remind us that we are yours too.
All: Ask much of us, expect much from us, enable much by us, encourage many through us. Bless the gifts we offer day by day and help us to live as a generous blessing to our world. Amen

Scripture:  Genesis 18:1-15

Song:  “I lift my voice”
© 2017, Andrea Ramsey – Used with permission

When I lift my voice, let it be in song,
a defiant note in the face of wrong.
I won’t stand alone; we’ll stand side by side,
’cause we know that love is always justified.
When they try to divide us, it will only unite us.
I lift my voice.

When I lift my voice, let it be for good;
let me care as much as I know I should.
I won’t stand alone; we’ll stand side by side,
’cause we know that love is always justified.
When they try to divide us, it will only unite us.
I lift my voice.
