Some potatoes will immediately be used by the Emergency Food Hamper Program, and some will be stored. Knox will be supporting the potato blitz, as we have in the past, by collecting at two stores (Valu Mart Uptown Waterloo and Freshco University and Bridge St Waterloo). Sharon Feldmann is looking for volunteers to cover two hours shifts (9 – 11 am, 11 am-1 pm, 1 – 3 pm). We have found that four people at each location per shift works well.
