Wed@Knox, Nov 6 – Greg Sennema: Remembering the Liberation of the Netherlands – Every year on November 11th Canadians gather in parks, schools, workplaces, and homes in the remembrance of the sacrifice many have made, and continue to make, in the service of their country. Referring to his grandfather’s detailed diary, Greg will share one perspective of sacrifice made by Canadian soldiers when they liberated the northern Dutch city of Groningen, while his grandfather and family huddled for safety inside their home.

Support Toy Mountain!! Cookies/brownies in a jar make a great gift too! Once again the LOGO’s Jr High will be making and selling cookies and brownies in a jar at a cost of $8. The money raised will be used by the Junior High kids to buy gifts for Toy Mountain. You can also support us by donating to purchase ingredients, supplies or a new unwrapped toy/book. To guarantee your jars, pre-order after service on November 3/10/17 or email email@example.com with your name, type of jar (brownie or oatmeal chocolate chip) and quantity of each or contact the church office. They will be ready for pick up starting November 24th. We are also looking for adult volunteers to help with decorating the jars during LOGO’s Thursday, November 21st. Email Vaughn if you can help. Thank you in advance for your support ~ Vaughn, Kathy and the LOGO’s Junior High youth!
