Knox Book Club

We welcome newcomers to join the Knox Book Club as we resume our monthly meetings. The Book Club meetings (now in our 21st year!) are held on the first Wednesday of the month at Lutherwood Village. Email Sandra if you need further information.

Our first book is Valley of the Birdtail, recommended by Elsie Millerd and touted as a must read for all Canadians. It relates a tale of two communities across the valley from each other - one a reservation and the other a settler town. The authors provide  much background information to explain how each developed on a different path. 

October’s selection is Becoming Lily Kaltyk by our own Dorothy Henderson who will likely join us in our discussion that day. November’s selection is Lessons in Chemistry, a novel set in the sixties.
