2022 MORTGAGE RENEWAL SUMMARY FOR CONGREGATION
Knox Waterloo’s mortgage renewal negotiations with Kindred Credit Union were successfully completed with a very positive outcome. The current extraordinary inflationary pressures being experienced in Canada has led to interest rates rising faster and higher than previously expected.
For more details including an opportunity to contribute to the annual mortgage principal paydown (due by May 23rd) please read:

In Celebration of Mother’s Day we Introduce you to our KNOX MOTHER GOOSE!

In early April our Knox Mother Goose came back to her preferred nesting location for the second year in a row. On April 10th she left the site briefly and we saw a few of her eggs! She was not pleased! After that, we never saw her move from the nest. Then this week on Tuesday, May 3rd, we saw that the eggs had hatched! Babies! A couple of baby goslings emerged from under Mom’s protective wings and new life began at Knox Church!

Two brave goslings exploring their new world while Knox Mother Goose keeps a watchful eye!

FINAL THOUGHT…

“The kingdom of God is an uprising against the powers that dominate our common life. It is a resistance to the status quo through acts of generosity, compassion, forgiveness, acceptance, nonviolence, and distributive justice.
