Wed@Knox January 16th – Thelma Beaubien: Gardening for Butterflies – Thelma will be presenting ways that her gardens have evolved over the years into a butterly haven. In fact, Beau’s Butterfly Garden became the inspiration for her book. She has recorded 28 different species of butterlies in her garden and will show you how you too, can garden through the eyes of a butterfly.
Men’s Breakfast will be Saturday January 19th, 8 am, at Calvin Church (248 Westmount Rd. E., Kitchener). Rev. Mark Gedcke will be the guest speaker. All men are welcome to join in a time of food and fellowship.

Volunteer Greeters Needed for Photo Directory – Photos will be taken at the church beginning Monday, January 21st through to Saturday, January 26th. We need volunteers to help greet and direct those who come to have their photos taken. Sign-up sheets are on the bulletin board.
Women Together: Monday, February 11th, 7:30-9 pm in the Hall. Check the bulletin board for more details. Cost is $5, join us for an evening of learning, conversation and fellowship.

We are updating our Photo Directory to celebrate our 130th anniversary. We will be telling our story and updating photos for our members and adherents. We want everyone included! Photos will be taken at the church (no charge) and all you have to do is sign up using the online link posted on our website at knoxwaterloo.ca. Save the Date! You are invited to the Knox Waterloo Inclusion Initiatives screening of BELONGING IN THE BODY: Transgender Journeys of Faith on March 3, 2019, 2:30 pm, in partnership with Generous Space Ministries. The one hour film follows the lives of several transgender Christians through their experiences of church, scripture and faith. Afterward there will be a panel discussion with Christians identifying as transgender, facilitated by Dr. Wendy VanderWal-Gritter of Generous Space Ministries. Reception and refreshments follow.
