Student Care Packages: At this time of year we like to send a small care package to our students who are nearing the end of their first year of post-secondary schooling. If you can help by providing 2 dozen homemade cookies that would be very much appreciated. Cookies should be nut-free and easy to pack as some will be sent by mail, and should be delivered to the church on Sunday, March 3rd. A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board. For more information, contact Femmy Birks at 519-885-0530 or email: femmy.birks@sympatico.ca.

Shrove Tuesday is “marked by feasting and celebration, which traditionally precedes the observation of Lent.” The Sr High Pancake Supper Fundraiser is Tuesday, March 5th, 5-7 pm in the church hall. Tickets on sale now ($8 adults, $5 seniors/students, $25 family) and will be available at the door. Proceeds going to the Ray of Hope Meal Support Program.

Photo Directory – Our final round of photo sessions will be April 8th – 10th. We want everyone included so if you have not signed up yet, visit the online link posted on our website at knoxwaterloo.ca. If you do not have a computer, contact Charlene in the office and she will sign up for you.

Yemen Crisis Response: Yemen is presently the worst humanitarian crisis in the world. Four years of conflict has resulted in widespread hunger and a devastating outbreak of cholera. PWS&D, along with the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, has responded and will continue to respond in Yemen with emergency food assistance along with water and sanitation assistance. Please help if you can. Make a donation through Knox, by making a designated donation with an envelope, or at the givings desk. Please mark your donation “Yemen.” Thank you.

Vacation Bible Camp is July 15-19, mornings. Join us as a participant or a leader! Registrations will be posted on line soon. Contact Laura (laurav@knoxwaterloo.ca) if you can help with craft planning/prep, Bible Time lesson prep, Recreation ideas, decorating ideas, etc.
