Worship & Remembrance

The story for this week is Matthew 25:1-13. Jesus helps us ponder this topic: what do we do while waiting for something? The first part of Sunday’s service will be a Liturgy of Remembrance. Seating is still available for the service: https://www.ticketor.com/knoxwaterloo

Calling all Dreamers…

Advent is coming…What’s your dream?

On November 22nd, Knox will begin the journey through Advent. This year, the Advent theme will be Those Who Dream, and we will be using wonderful, creative resources developed by A Sanctified Art. What does it look like to live as those who dream? In worship throughout Advent, we will be sharing our dreams with one another. We invite you to share your dreams for our congregation, the wider church, our community, or our world. What’s your dream? Record your answer on video (one or two sentences) and email it to Courtney (courtney@knoxwaterloo.ca). If you are not able to record a video, you may submit an audio file, or simply type out your response by email. We will include some of you dreams in worship throughout Advent. Please submit your dreams by Wednesday, November 18th.

Anniversary Sunday – 132 years

We will be celebrating Anniversary Sunday next week on November 15. It will include a celebration of the Knox’s Music Scholars program, with performances by all 5 of our present Music Scholars.

Theological Study – First Light

It’s not too late to join the theological study on anti-imperialism and the Jesus of history, beginning this Wednesday. Contact Hugh for more details: hugh@knoxwaterloo.ca
