Sunday school PWS&D Challenge continues today. Help the Sunday school children raise funds to support “Farming for the Future” in Guatemala. Soup and buns will be served after worship. Free will offering gladly received! 

Wed@Knox, Mar 13th – Allison Dyjach and Matthew Rappolt: “Reconciliation through Education and Understanding”– The KAIROS Blanket Exercise is a unique participatory history lesson, developed in collaboration with Indigenous Elders. Allison and Matt, both trained facilitators with KAIROS will be adapting this exercise for us so that we can learn more about how it fosters truth, understanding, respect and reconciliation among Indigenous and non-indigenous peoples.

The Inclusion Initiatives Committeethanks everyone who attended the screening and discussion of “Belonging in the Body – Transgender Journeys of Faith” last Sunday. Thank you to those who worked behind the scenes to ensure that the event was a success.

LOGOS Jr High are hosting a CARNIVAL,Thursday, April 11th,, from 5 to 7 pm here at Knox. There is no cost but Free Will Donations will be gratefully accepted with all proceeds going to DOG GUIDES OF CANADA. There will be games, face painting, food and FUN, and a Puppy Play Area where you can meet and interact with Guide Dogs. Stuffed toy puppies will also be on sale!! All are welcome to come andlearn about the Dog Guides of Canada. Save the date!

Vacation Bible Camp “Shake it up Café: Where kids carry out God’s recipe” is July 15-19, in the mornings for kids finished JK-Gr 5 ($25) and Junior Youth Gr 6, 7 & 8 ($35). Register online SOON! Contact Laura V to volunteer.

Many thanks to all who supported this year’s Senior High Pancake Supper Fundraiser. All proceeds will buy food for dinner that the Sr High youth will be preparing and serving at Ray of Hope. 

Yemen Crisis Response:Yemen is presently the worst humanitarian crisis in the world. Four years of conflict has resulted in widespread hunger and a devastating outbreak of cholera. PWS&D, along with the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, has responded and will continue to respond in Yemen with emergency food assistance along with water and sanitation assistance. Please help if you can. Make a donation through Knox, by making a designated donation with an envelope, or at the Givings Table. Please mark your donation “Yemen.” Thank you.
