Well….we’ve had every type of weather this past week….which has left us all scratching our heads (and possibly dealing with some flooding!) Good thing we are all about to Gather Around the Campfire and enjoy some comfort and warmth!
A notice to the Grade 4 – 6 Crew – Your Skating night is going to be postponed due to the weather conditions. We are hoping that we will be able to lace up some skates on February 21 after dinner instead, weather dependent. Stay tuned. Therefore we do NOT need adults to meet us at the rink this week for skating. The Sr High are also planning to skate at some point, once the weather is more cooperative.
I heard that the Breslau Mennonite Church’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was AMAZING! And it was truly enjoyed by all 40 LOGOS Sr. Highs (and drivers, families, etc) who attended. Thanks to Linda and Amanda for organizing this event as a special night out for our Sr High. Keep in mind, our Sr High are now starting Second Semester. Please keep them in your prayers as they transition through the changes which this involves.
Something to note: we noticed that we had planned our Hogwarts Banquet for March 7, the week immediately before March Break. Because many families will be away and because our kitchen crew have been diligently planning and gearing up for this night to be our second turkey dinner, we have decided to switch Hogwarts Banquet to February 21 (so as few as possible will miss it) and change Honky Tonk Hoedown to March 7. We know both are favourites for many – please make note of the switch.
As always, please watch your email to see if we cancel LOGOS. You will receive an email, usually by 3:15 on Thursday afternoon if LOGOS is cancelled due to poor weather.
