Once again – a Happy New Year to you. Well we’ve made it through this week of “back to school” “back to programs” and “back to work” for many of us.

It has been great to hear the choir practicing, we had a lovely big turn out for our first Wednesday at Knox and how delightful to see all the kids back to LOGOS.

This Sunday, January 13th we gather for worship. Our readings are Isaiah 63:7-9 and Hebrews 1:1-2 and Matthew 2:13-23 as we continue to hear the story of Christ’s birth as he and his family flee into Egypt.  The sermon is “The Gospel of Migration” and the Choir will be singing “Holy, Holy, Holy” and yes, there will be a post-christmas word search.

Come and worship, come and worship, come and worship the new born King!

“Hope has to come up out of you…to find something worth hoping for is a very good place to start. There are things worth hoping for; there are good people; this is still a very beautiful world.” Wendell Berry

Peace and blessings to you and your loved ones.
