The KNOX BAZAAR will be held on November 17th this year. This congregation has always generously supported the bazaar, for which we thank you. This year, as in others, we ask that you consider contributing baking, crafts for the Knox table and white elephant items, as well as helping us get the word out for Saturday, November 17th. Any and all contributions for these areas would be greatly appreciated. If anyone in the Knox family knows of a location; store front window, community bulletin boards in residential or commercial operations, we would appreciate your help in getting flyers out into the community. Flyers are available at the welcome desk.
MINISTER SEARCH COMMITTEE The Knox Session is seeking members and adherents who would be willing to serve on a Minister Search Committee. This twelve member committee will play a key role in selecting the candidate for consideration by the congregation as the next minister of Knox Waterloo. The Committee is seeking representation from a variety of perspectives, backgrounds and experiences.
Interested congregation members or adherents are encouraged to complete and submit an Expression of Interest Form. These are available at the welcome desk on Sundays, in the church office during the week, and on the Knox Waterloo website. The Expression of Interest Form outlines the anticipated time commitment and the criteria for committee member selection. The due date for submission of the completed form is Sunday, November 11th, 2018.
Please prayerfully consider submitting your Expression of Interest Form to serve on this important team. For more information, please contact Search Committee co-chairs Heather Cawsey or Lawrie Carter.
