It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Knox member Don Moffatt. Don has been a lifelong Presbyterian and was involved in many congregations as well as working for Presbyteries and national church endeavours. When Don and Anne came to Knox they quickly became as involved and Don served on our Brightening the Future Campaign.

Don’s celebration of life will be this Saturday, July 7th here at the church at 11 a.m. You can read his obituary on the Erb and Good website.

Please keep Anne and their daughters Sue, Barb and Nancy in your prayers.

This Sunday, July 8th our readings are 2 Corinthians 12:7b-10 and Mark 6:1-13 and the sermon is “Disenchanting Moments”. Stephanie Ullock is our soloist and will sing “Stand by Me” and “From a Distance”. We hope you will be joining us in worship – either here in the sanctuary or by live streaming.

Our church halls are filled with the joyous sound of youth as they attend the Lego Robotics camp, teams are gearing up for our Vacation Bible Camp July 16-20 and our Canada Youth Team are having an amazing time at Brock University this week.

May the God of all creation continue to bless you with all joy.

Linda Ashfield, minister at Knox Waterloo
