“I believe through love, healing is always possible. I believe healing is possible because love never fails.” Becca Stevens

The Rev. Becca Stevens is the author of “Love Heals” and is founder of Thistle Farms, a healing ministry and community whose mission is to heal, empower and employ women survivors of trafficking, prostitution and addiction. They provide safe and supportive housing, the opportunity for economic independence and a strong community of advocates and friends.

The healing power of love takes many forms and is needed in many places in our world; in our families, our friendships and our wider communities. The Gospel call to love our neighbour calls us to be a part of God’s healing love wherever it is needed.

Becca says of their ministry, “We believe that in the end, love is the most powerful force for change in the world.”

Take a moment to reflect on how you are currently offering healing love in your wider community, and where else you may be being called.

Give God thanks for the ways you have experienced or seen love as a healing force.
