With each day feeling like both spring and winter, we have entered the middle of March, that time of year families with school age children call “March Break”. This weekend Daylight Savings Time begins – the phrase “fall back, spring forward” always helps me to know which way to set my clock on Saturday night.

Sunday March 11th is the Fourth Sunday in Lent. Our theme is “Love in the midst of adversity” and the readings are Ephesians 2:4-10 and John 3:14-21. Our Chancel Choir will be singing “ I am a Child of God” and “I surrender all to you”. And yes, there is a word search puzzle based on the Gospel reading.

Wednesday at Knox (March 14th) will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with “Stephen Todd and Friends – The Musical Shenachie. We hope you can come for lunch and music.

A reminder that there will be no LOGOS this week due to March Break.

On Palm Sunday, March 25th the grades 5 & 6 Sunday School class is hosting a bake sale. Maundy Thursday, March 29th, LOGOS invites you to worship with them in the sanctuary 6:45-7:30. Good Friday Service is at 10 am with a children’s program and Hot-cross buns afterwards. Early Morning Easter service is 7:30 am in Waterloo Park. Easter Pot luck Breakfast 8:15 am and Easter worship with Communion at 10 am

Sunday, April 8th we are celebrating 25 years of LOGOS!

May the Spirit continue to challenge, uphold and inspire us as we discover how to “love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength”.

Blessings this day,

Linda Ashfield, Minister at Knox Waterloo
