Christmas is fast approaching!!!  Please plan to join us on Dec 14 for the Christmas Service at 6:45.  Better yet, please also add the Christmas Turkey dinner to your calendar at 6 pm.  If you plan to join us for dinner, let us know this week so that we have a spot set for you – all are welcome!

This week we celebrate “Mustachio” – in a nod to MOVEMBER – plan out your favourite “MO” in honour of the Mo Bros and Sisters who are bringing awareness to cancer causes this month.  It is also a Week 1 at LOGOS.  That means Jr High will begin in the gym and Sr High are in room 205 in anticipation of Christmas!  After dinner our Grades 1 – 3 will be in the gym and 4 – 6 will be making a special Christmas surprise.

This Sunday, December 3The Grade 4 – 6 Classes will be presenting their Tone Chimes rendition of “Silent Night” in Worship at 10 am

Thursday December 7Jr Highs will be shopping for Gifts before dinner with Cookies in a Jar Proceeds going to purchasing for the Angel Tree

Also on Thursday December 7 we will have an Adult Practice for Christmas service at 7:30 for about 20 minutes to run through our Play in preparation for the following week.

Sunday December 10 is the Knox Christmas pageant at 10 am – The Grade 1 – 3 Worship Arts and Sr High Worship Arts groups will be Participating in worship this morning along with the Sunday School

Sunday, December 10 – You’ve been invited to join us at Lisa and Dave Dougall’s for an Open House from 6:30 – 9:30 pm for Nibbles and Drinks as we Celebrate the Christmas Season – please let us know if you plan to attend as soon as possible so that we can let Lisa and Dave know

Thursday, December 14 the Sr High are asked to bring in a “White Elephant” gift for their Christmas Gift Exchange.  Talk to Barb Gaudet for more details

Thursday, December 14 – Last LOGOS before Christmas – please let us know if you will be joining us for Turkey dinner (cost is $ 5.00 if you do not already come for dinner) – this will be followed by Worship at 6:45 for ANYONE to join us as the LOGOS participants share our Gifts in Worship together

We will resume LOGOS after Christmas on Thursday January 11.  On this evening we will be meeting to refresh ourselves on the foundation of LOGOS here at Knox.  As we have many new participants to LOGOS this year, we are asking that All participants of LOGOS must have at least one family member attend this meeting unless they already had a representative attend our Bones of LOGOS meeting in September.  The meetings will be held during Period 2 (5:15-6 PM) AND Period 4 (6:45 to 7:30 PM) so as to accommodate as many people as possible.

Thursday January 11 will be a Week 2 so that means Jr High will begin in the gym and Sr High are in room 205. After dinner our Grades 1 – 3 will be in the gym and 4 – 6 will be making a craft.
