Have you always wondered what LOGOS was about but weren’t able to commit to that much time?  We are looking for specific helpers for the senior high activity time 4:20 – 5:20 on certain dates. If you are able to help, please contact Barbara Gaudet at bdgaudet[at] (October 5 (lifesized jenga) – looking for woodworkers who could bring a miter saw with them, November 2 (casseroles) – looking for cooks who could supervise chopping and recipe portions and November 30 (Christmas plants) – looking for gardeners to help us re-pot plants into pleasing arrangements.)

Pumpkins are coming! Jr High is selling pumpkins after church on Sundays in October. All proceeds support the Waterloo Region Food Bank.

Happy 50th Wedding anniversary to Edi and Bill Stevens (September 30th, 1967)

KNOX ELDERS: Today we ordain and induct five elders into active service on Session. They are: Rob Broberg, Sue Dickieson, Sharon Feldmann, Vaughn Sauve and Ken Vander Vleuten. We also honour and thank Barb Prysnuk-Schat and Dave Ogram for their years of leadership, wisdom and service as Knox Elders. Thank you to the members of Knox who voted for last spring. There was a clear sense of who the congregation wanted as Elders at this time, and we are delighted that those named have accepted the call to serve. Elders are ordained for life and those not in active service on Session are named as  Sustaining Elders.
