We finished the build on Friday and had a small dedication ceremony with María Eva, the 79 year old matriarch of the household. The roof, doors and windows will be put on within the next couple of weeks. We presented her with a bible, a photo of all of the crew and family together that we had taken the day before, and then she officially cut the ribbon.
We then played games with the whole neighborhood, including musical chairs, limbo and the grand finale – a piñata.

Saturday we visited the Masaya Volcano, went to a market, then had lunch on an island in Granada Lake. We had some free time in Granada then had our Habitat farewell dinner!

Now we’re on our own for adventures in León!
